Anuja Shah is a licensed attorney in both California and India. She works in the Commercial, Trademark, and Privacy Group at Inventus Law, where she focuses on comprehensive brand protection and helps clients navigate the complexities of intellectual property law, with particular expertise in trademark law. Anuja is also passionate about global privacy laws and advises clients on compliance strategies to manage privacy risks. Her work further includes drafting and negotiating various commercial contracts.
Licensed across two legal systems, Anuja frequently advises clients in both California and India. Prior to joining Inventus Law, she worked at a leading intellectual property law firm in Mumbai, India, where she advised a diverse range of clients on IP matters, including trademark and copyright law, IP due diligence, domain name disputes, anti-counterfeiting, customs enforcement, and data protection.
Anuja holds an LL.B. (J.D. equivalent) from Government Law College, India, and an LL.M. from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law, with a certification in Law and Technology. She is also a Certified Information Privacy Professional in both Europe (CIPP/E) and the USA (CIPP/US).
In her free time, Anuja enjoys reading, hiking, playing tennis, and petting every dog she encounters. She is fluent in English, Hindi, and Gujarati.
